John Bercow Joins Fallout London Voice Cast
Fallout London, an expansion-sized mod for Fallout 4, has announced that former UK Speaker of the House, John Bercow, will voice a robot version of his previous role. This unique addition enhances the game's portrayal of a post-apocalyptic London, blending political history with the Fallout universe's quirky charm.
Project lead Dean Carter revealed the news in the Fallout London Discord, expressing excitement about the diverse and talented voice cast, which includes actors from Baldur's Gate 3 and Doctor Who. Bercow, who served as Speaker from 2009 to 2019, will bring his authoritative voice to the mod, offering a familiar yet futuristic touch to the game's narrative.
Fallout London promises to deliver an immersive experience with everything from "stuffy parliamentary aristocrats" to a "resurrection of the Knights of the Round Table." The mod has generated significant anticipation, although its release was delayed due to a surprise update for Fallout 4 from Bethesda. Despite the setback, Team FOLON has continued development, aiming for a release soon.
Fallout London will not initially be playable on Epic Games Store-bought copies of Fallout 4, as the platform does not support update rollbacks. However, it remains one of the most high-profile mods in development, offering a rich, story-driven expansion set in a meticulously crafted version of London.
Fallout: London is expected to provide players with a unique and engaging post-apocalyptic experience, enriched by its diverse voice cast and innovative storyline. Fans of the series and new players alike can look forward to exploring this ambitious addition to the Fallout universe.
